Shelly Wild



Shelly Wild was recently named the Manager of Tennis Operations and is on the Professional Tennis Teaching staff at Five Seasons Sports Club, Indianapolis. She is also a valuable member of the Washington Township Tennis Program coaching staff, where she has worked with tournament players since 2002. Shelly is the lead traveling coach for nationally and sectionally ranked juniors in the Washington Township Tennis Program. She also provides strategy and scheduling advice for those players seeking to improve their rankings.

Teaching pro Tournament Players Program Indianapolis Racquet Clubs 1999-2007. Received Professional 1 certification from the USPTA in 1989.

Shelly was a ranked junior player in the Chicago district and Midwest Section. She received a tennis scholarship to Purdue University where she played all four years of college tennis, and graduated with a business degree in Management.

Prior to moving to Indiana from the Chicago area in 1997, Shelly was a Supervisor at the Arlington Heights Park District, helping to manage their indoor facility, the Heritage Tennis Club, and directing, hiring, and training the staff of their summer tennis program at over 10 outdoor tennis locations throughout the city.

Shelly was the Girl's Varsity Tennis Coach for the Buffalo Grove High School. Shelly worked at the Libertyville Tennis Club from 1987-1994 and was promoted to the positions of Head Pro/Director of Lessons and Programs and the Pro Shop Manager. While teaching at Libertyville, she traveled as a coach with players to both national and pro satellite events.

Shelly taught for Vic Braden Tennis in Frankfurt, Germany in 1986.

Shelly is married to Andy Wild, and they have three tennis playing daughters, Courtney, Hayley, and Lindsey. Courtney was recently a finalist in the Indiana Girl's High School Tennis Championships after a very successful freshman season.
